Williams is a 6’10 Center who was drafted 17th overall by the New Jersey Nets after becoming one of the best shot blockers in the NCAA. In Williams’ Junior year at Boston College he averaged almost 5 blockers per game along with 12.13 ppg and 7 rpg. As a rookie Williams logged only 17 mpg with the Nets but still averaged 1.5 blocks per game. An NBA veteran, known for his great defensive skills and athleticism, Williams has spent time with the Nets, Mavericks, Celtics, and Rockets along with spending time in Israel playing for Maccabi Haifa. A true center with the length and athleticism to protect the rim, Williams has a long exciting future ahead of himself.
